BMW GINA Light Visionary Model concept car has skin, skeleton, blinking eyes

This angry-looking skinned beast is the BMW GINA Light Visionary Model. GINA, which stands for Geometry and Functions in 'N' Adaptations -- whatever that means -- is shelled in a textile fabric wrapped around a carbon fiber and metal frame. This means that the skin and skeleton can bend and contract like, well, real skin and skeleton. For instance, the doors bend up, the headlights are exposed like eyeballs under eyelids, and the hood opens from the center like some sort of gaping maw to expose the engine. Even the interior is skinned and modular: only the dash displays that you need at any item are available via openings. Don't get too excited, though -- this is purely a concept and nothing you'll see in a showroom any time soon. We can dream, though, right?

AOL is Bringing Radio Back with Improved Online Player

First people were bringing back the old school with virtual mixtapes, now AOL is saying that radio is still cooler than iTunes playlists. The new and improved AOL Radio is the latest project by AOL which just launched into beta.
A subset of AOL Music, the revamped online player features a sleek and smoky design along with 150 local CBS RADIO stations and more than 200 AOL Radio channels. The new player lets you skip songs, have channel presets and share your streams with other AIM users.

I have been listening to AOL Radio all during the writing this post and I must say that radio has come a long way from static channel surfing in my dad’s Buick Park Avenue. Radio 2.0 has the best selection of music, no repeats, memory of the last 30 songs I listened to, and very few ads.
AOL Radio eliminates the need to call a friend and tell them about a new song through it’s easy share feature that allows you to send music to your friends through AIM.
I say you check it out. You’re sure to find a station you like. And sometimes you need that escape from your same old music library. My favorite station on AOL Radio is Shuffle because “You have no idea whats coming next — but its gonna be good…”
